Storm Grey Tripp Trapp Makeover
I'm all about the grey right now so it only seemed right that my next Tripp Trapp makeover project should reflect my current love. Say hello to my new Storm Grey Tripp Trapp - be still my beating heart...
This is another of my really old Tripp Trapp's (2005). It was white and looking tired and in need of a bit of love after nine years of hardcore daily use by me. Yes, this is my own personal Tripp Trapp, it lives at the kitchen table with the rest of our Tripp Trapp family. We don't have regular dining chairs - we all sit on Tripp Trapp's (spot my white chair, top left).
I used the same method I described in my original Tripp Trapp makeover post, except this time I used Grey Plastikote Spray Undercoat instead of white.
It was a good move as I ended up only using a single can of undercoat and a single can of paint. I picked them up from Homebase when they had their last 15% off weekend. In addition there was a 3 for 2 offer that I took advantage of, making my makeover paint total just £10.75!
