  1. That is a wicked and wonderful idea for a blog post. I do have a little niggle that get's to me about it though...
I am looking to get a new car asap (and having an Xplory already and a baby on the way) I will use the blog post to see what cars are easier for the buggy but as the cars aren't in alphabetical order I it's a little harder to take full note (odd I know).

  2. Vivilanco,
Not odd at all! I totally get it and it will be updated over the weekend in Alphabetical make and model order. It upset me too but I wanted to get it live ASAP!

  3. Could anyone test it in a Fiat 500C or has someone got one?
I got one (the C is the convertible, unfortunately there is no store that stocks the Xplory where I live. I love the Stokke and although someone managed to get it into a Mini (hatchback) I am sceptical with my Fiat 500C.

    Thank you very much!

  13. I've been um-ing and ah-ing over this for our first baby due in Jan since I tried it out in my local shop (for people with back issues as it happens and both my husband and I are tall) and then I come on here and the first car boot is the one we have!

This is totally meant to be, right?

    1. Absolutely! Exactly the same reason we are considering the Stokke too- that and our baby may be born deaf so having the eye contact at that height will be extremely useful for bonding :-)

    1. We have a Citroen C1 which is exactly the same. It only fits with the back seat folded down, unfortunately.

  15. My stokke goes in my 207cc boot with carry cot easily. Does anyone know if it will fit into a 206?

    ReplyDelete
  16. you have to slightly fold one of the back seats to allow space for the wheels, also the carry cot has to be placed on the rear seat and parcel shelf left out the vehicle so 'NO' is your answer.

  28. To answer my own question above (having been to an out of town baby store and tried it for myself) The Stokke Xplory does fit in the boot of a Suzuki Swift, on it's side with one wheel off, with the seat behind it on it's side. You'll get nothing else in the boot-but the Xplory fits!! YAY!!!!
